Watching the Sunday singles round of the Ryder Cup with my son was a special event. He's really taking off with the game after seeing this and the Monday playoff between Rocco and Tiger for the US Open. Nine years old and he's thinking head-to-head golf is the greatest.

I'm so proud of our team. What a way to start a career for Kim.....and what a way to top off a career for Perry.

I was very impressed with Poulter as well.

Anyway.....I couldn't resist the moment I read about the original covers that Scotty gave the team members and was releasing a version for us mere mortals.

Came in the mail today and I'll be sporting it on a round tommorrow with some good buds from work. We are biting off more than we can chew, I'm afraid...set up a round at one of the tougher local courses, Jones Creek. I love their greens, though, I just struggle to get to 'em in regulation!!!!!

Yup....someone snatching it would not be met kindly....especially if they nabbed the wand, too. It was a 40th birthday gift from my wife and son.

You'd be surprised. It wasn't too bad at all. I picked up this one and another new Scotty cover that I wanted for right at $100.

I watched them on Ebay off and on throughout the day on Friday and bid on a couple of them.....I won one of the bids later that evening. They've gone up a bit since that day but they are still available fairly easy. Keep in mind that they are initially bought by Club Cameron members at a set price....same as the other major covers.....I believe.....so they have to cover that expense. I'm not sure if they have sold out through Club Cameron or not.
