I've noticed alot of things are on sale now and I would like to buy a driver. I have my eyes on Taylormade r7 draw 13degree. Or I've been looking at MACTEC NVG2 drivers on ebay, they're cheap and theres alot of ones with different shaft options.

im in the 100-150 price range for a driver. any suggestions?

I have my eyes on the r7 draw because i usually hit a slice with the driver i have (not even bagging it now)

You might be interested in the '07 Burner Draw model. Just saw it at www.rockbottomgolf.com (email advert) for $129!!!

Couple guys on my weeknight league bought the Burner Draw to cure a slice. One guy is STILL learning how to slice it. Great club for both guys.

The 2007 burner is a great club I abbsouloutley love mine, if you dont like it you might also want to try the 2007 cobra speed drivers.

i saw at one golf shop in augusta they had the 2008 cobra speed drivers for 150 but most other stores ive seen had them for 199

i bought my cleveland hibore xl for 129 from sports authority and i love it

callaway also had one of their drivers marked down to 149

taylormade has a lot of sales going on as well.

If you are looking into drivers with offset or draw versions, the Ping G10 and Hibore XLS both come in those variations, just to throw two more into the mix. I agree with checking our rock-bottom-golf as well as 3ballsgolf.

I ended up buying a MacGregor MACTEC 460 DRAW driver on ebay. It has a Aldila VS Proto By You 65 R-flex shaft on it. $74.50

      Went back to controlling my knees. That part was getting a bit sloppy when I worked on my backswing. Right hip didn't slide or gain internal rotation. I would just rotate back and around and the left knee would be in a bad spot. Really focusing now on keeping my left knee very stable and straighter in the backswing. I can't go back to the old pattern of overturning the hips. I was returning to my old pattern to time my downswing. Turn forever.  Left knee controls both knees and hips, acting as an anchor. Feel like it straightens a bit.   Hinge sooner and faster. Not in a way that sends the hands out and flips the club over. I still noticed when the hands get to A2.5, the hands would want to flip over and flatten the club out a ton.  Still trying to figure out how to roll the forearms a bit open and not just roll the club inside a ton.  Figure out the timing to get the hands down. Still getting a bit of right elbow collapsing in the downswing because the arms are too high when I turn. Everything is happening sooner now. If the hips are controlled, the backswing is shortened. Because it is shortened I don't know when to get the hands down and I just turn because the downswing is a go.  Very slow (50%) swings are decent.
