Just ordered a set of Black Gold shafts in X flex and was curious as to anyone playing these or hit them yet? Just can't find any feedback on these. Thanks in advance.

I was curious about these shafts also. These are True Tempers answer to the frequency tuned Rifle shafts.

My buddy built a set of forged Snake Eyes irons with those Rifle Shafts in them and he swears by them being frequency tuned.

I thought it was all in his head but I haven't read enough about the advantages of frequency tuning yet.

It will be interesting to see when they begin to make their way into the general public. They're so very new I think True Temper missed being able to get these shafts into 2006 irons, at least for the first few months. Anyway, when people start to get them, I'll be interested in hearing about them from people who've played with 'em.
