well today I received my Cobra S9's. I have played with the Callaway X-20 and demo'd the Cobra's, both felt good, and I was undecided on which one I was going to purchase.
Well after alot of reading and an hour at the range demo'ing the Cobra's, I decided to buy these.
So my question to you is this, have any of you played with the Cobra S9 Irons. I have the Speed LD driver and it hits really good.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated...

I picked up a S9 II demo 6 iron to use as my only "mid iron club". That thing is money. It's probably not good for the extreme picker/sweepers but otherwise, money. I have an odd but pragmatic set makeup. Once I get over 150 in yardage I want lots of confidence in the GI aspects of my clubs (think Dana Quigley). Plus I need all the help I can get hitting the ball high to get a useable trajectory. The S9 II deliveres on all these fronts. Like most new Cobra clubs, it's hot accross the entire face. The shaft is a user friendly 90ish gram with a higher launch. But unlike a lot of SGI irons, this club has enough heft to feel throughout the swing and not so much offset that you think you might hit yourself with the ball. You get plenty of fat shot help from the wide sole. At address this SGI club really looks better to me than most GI clubs.

I would be totally into a full set of these clubs if I didn't prefer a player's profile in my "scoring irons". I think you'll like these clubs a lot. This coming from a former Callaway player as well.

It is a great preforming club, but I can not stand the look of the graphite topline, besides that it is a very solid club.
