Saw one of these on sale at discount store. I noted that it was endorsed by Golf Digest. Has anyone used this?

Yeah, I've got one. Make me an offer if you want it.

Its a cool idea, really. Bunch of plastic tubing you can piece together in various configurations, with the foam roll used for any sort of "contact" point (body, shaft, club). I used it several times last year when I was working on my backswing posture and positions.

It has a nice carrying bag... not the smallest item to be dragging around the range, but it would be possible. Might weigh 5 lbs all bagged up, roughly.

What are you working on? Maybe I can help you decide if the Path Pro could help. (??) Just a thought.

I brought this up because I saw it in a "Tuesday Morning" store which has little of everything including golf equipment / balls periodically. This was only 19.99 and caught my eye. As far as what I am working on, my problem has been pushing the ball to the right. It might be a issue of alignment or not coming through on the ball. I came back to golf 2 seasons ago and have finally realized what is going to improve my game is not just playing and working on my own after reading, but getting a lesson. This is my plan for Spring.

On an unrelated topic, have you seen the Cleveland Niblick. It was reviewed about month ago here.

Lessons are great, if you can afford them, AND if you have the time and money to practice what the pro suggests. Personally, I take a lesson every 6 weeks (or so). It usually takes me that long to feel comfortable with even a minor swing adjustment.

The Niblick... hmm.... well, every once in a while I'll get paired with a guy who, for some reason, hits every shot (full, pitch, chip, sand, etc) inside 100 yds with the same club. Usually, this person is just beginning to learn the game, and they have not learned the different techniques required to play various "short" shots with different clubs. They seem to have a little confidence in this one club (usually a PW or 9i), so they just keep hitting it. Who am I to judge? Golf is hard enough, they are trying to simplify it. Good for them. Eventually, if their technique improves... my guess is they will most likely ditch that "one-club" method and start to understand the benefits/risks of using a SW from a bunker, chipping with an LW, etc. But until that happens, maybe the Niblick would be a good option for that person . Otherwise, for those of us who have more confidence and better technique, the Niblick seems like a waste.
