I used to have R5 TP, R7 425 TP and 907 D2.
R7 425 TP, not r7 460 TP, is the best for control driver for me. D2 creates better flight and was easy to hit, but wasn't able to control as much as R7 tp.
Now it's all matter of what you would like to do with your driver.
If you would like to shape your shot every time (like fading, drawing, or flight control), I recommend R7 425 TP. If you would like to play consistent, go with newer driver such as D2.
I recently changed my driver to Taylormade Tour Burner TP 9.5. It lacks workability as much as r7 425 but has more than D2. I may say it is like fusion of TM's TP & D2.

Thanks for your reply. I play the R5 TP for about 1 1/2 years and have the Diamana 85g shaft on it. I am looking for more distance and yet some workability. How do you compare them with your R5 TP? and what shaft did you have on the drivers? Thanks for your reply.

I use 75g Reax Fujikura Stiff.
--- For me,
Forgiveness: D2 > Tour Burner TP > R5 TP > R7 TP
Length: Tour Burner TP > R7 TP > R5 TP = D2
Control: R7 TP > R5 TP = Tour Burner TP > D2
(Very subjective :) )
