Hi all, I'm probably luckier than most of you out there in the fact that i still get Christmas presents from my parents. I am try to decide what i should ask for for Christmas this year and so i need some advice.

I am suppose to have a £350 budget for this Christmas for all my presents so its all going towards golf. I'm thinking about getting a stand bag as i only have a cart bag and i want to carry my bag, a set of new irons or a new 3-5 wood or maybe a new wedge.

I'm currently a 28 handicap but i am improving quickly dropped 8 shots last month With my irons i struggle for distance and hight on my shots. With my woods i have the distance but lack accuracy. I currently play with bay hill woods and irons from a package set and have been told by somebody who works in a golf shop that they are rubbish. I have a good driver and 3 hybrid though

Please give your opinion on my current clubs and whether i should consider getting new ones and if so could you guide on which clubs i should get for under £350 pounds or $650 dollars.

thanks in advance.

I'd say get some irons, maybe something like the Wilson Ci7's. Then use the rest on wedges and a 2 ball putter.

Wow man you are lucky. Where I come from I have about $250 dollars for Christmas, since my mom had to spend money on my little brother's braces. I'm just looking for good used irons, and I got a personalized golf jacket (for high school).

Yeah i guess i am. However most of that money is from my grandparents because they are giving away thier money instead of leaving it until they die.

Some good irons on offer right now are the Nike CCi cast. Onlinegolf.co.uk have them for £269 (with the option of adding the SQ 5900 square driver for a further £70). I use these irons and they really are very good, they have true temper dynalite shafts which are designed to get the ball up into the air. Not sure what you think of the Cobra camouflage stand bag but I think its pretty cool (£69.99 at direct golf). That's what I would get right now, and you will earn brownie points for coming in £12 under budget lol. I'm not a big callaway fan but I have seen an offer for the X20 irons and free callaway standbag for £299 too.

Oh I gotcha. Well it's hard for people in my family to give a lot of money since I have about 23 other cousins, so they have to split the money up.
