Usally use Tour Velvet's but need a couple of fairway woods re-gripped, what would you suggest as I fancy a change and noticed the Titleist generic tour velvets lasted no time.

After having been a Golf Pride user for years (including Tour Velvet and the newer New Decade griips), I have recently switched to Lamkin Crossline grips. To me the grips seem better and they seem to last longer. While the Golf Pride New Decade grips were great when new it wasn't long at all before they started to wear and become downright slick. I always thought the Tour Velvet grips were a little too slick, but that's what I had always used so I just assumed all grips were that way.

I agree with Kapp about the Lamkin Crossline cords lasting forever. That has been my experience with them as well. Great grips.

Earlier this month/late last month I had my irons regripped with Golf Pride New Decades. They are doing very well...I'm pleased with the feel and gripping ability. A bit pricey but I'm confident in their durability.

My third round after regripping found me in a firm rain. They did fair, though not as good as the Lamkin Crossline Cords or the Tour Velvet Cords would have done. I could have used my rain gloves.

I recently regripped my driver & hybrid with the Lamkin Dual density torsion control, they are fantastic very tacky and soft and hold up well in wet or humid conditions, i liked them so much im changing all my irons over.

i still prefer golf pride over lamkin. the new decade multi-compound is my favorite grip of all time, although it does get slick if you don't keep them clean.
