Regarding driving, if you are stop at the signal light with a huge vehicle next to you on the left and the light turns green wait until the huge vehicle begins to move first because if a car is running the red light you will not see the car because the huge vehicle is blocking your view or it could be a pedestrian running across on a red light trying to catch the bus before it leaves. The little voice inside will make you feel uncomfortable going across before you can see what is on your left first, so listen to your gut feelings.

Germs on kitchen faucet
once a week you should clean the faucet screen in your kitchen and maybe all of your faucets. Bateria can grow if you accidentally touch the screen with dirty hands. They recommend soaking in a bleach solutions for a couple of minutes and rinse before using.

Dryer screen and potential fire
Pull your dryer screen out and run water through the screen, if you notice that its hard for the water to penetrate the screen, there is a film build up from using bounce or other anti-static product in your dryer. This can cause heat to build up and potentially if not checked in worse cases cause fire. Simple wash the screen with dishwashing soap and water and after you finish check the water flow again through the screen and you notice that the water flows freely.

One that was of interest to me: it's not recommended to wash raw chicken before cooking. Any bacteria that you might remove from the surface will be quickly killed by cooking, so all you accomplish is splattering bacteria all over the sink area.

While driving in the rain and you come to an intersection or any driving situation when you need to see if any cars are approaching don't be afraid to roll your windows down so that you can see the cars comming better, instead of through foggy or rain on windows.
