Hey all,

So right now i have a a standard regular flex graphite shaft on my Cobra Driver. I think i want to buy a new shaft but i dont really understand the diffrence between all the companies. Is there something I should be looking for inparticular?

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Hey all,

There really is no industry "standard" for shaft flex. I would recommend you consult a club fitter and get a shaft that mated with the head will be best fitted to your swing.

I agree 100% with indacup. Besides the 'flex' itself, you also need to be aware of kick points, torque and weight. I played the game for a while looking for the right shaft and finally found I play better with stiff flex, low kick point and light weight (55 grams). There are just too many variables to be looking at flex only, and even that is not standard across the industry.
