Good start for Sean O'Hair

I'm really pulling for this kid this year. He's got such a wonderful golf swing and for what he's been through with his father it's a minor miracle he actually made it on tour. If Earl Woods made all the right moves with Tiger, it seems like Sean's father made all the wrong moves. It's a credit to his self perseverance, his talent, and his wifes support that he's made it this far.

I hope he can get to the next level this year as a multiple winner or better yet a major!

He seems like a nice kid, but I'm not sure he has the drive of the other players in his peer group. I could see him finishing his career with under 10 wins and no majors.

I have to agree with you that he has appeared to be going in the direction you stated. Two career wins so far and not much in the majors. I watched him on Sunday and it looks like he's gained a couple pounds of muscle and his swing was looking better than ever. He's still only 26 and some guy's do mature a little later. With his golf swing I would expect him to be in contention more. Perhaps your right about his drive to succeed, time will tell!

He's a guy I root for just because of his laid back attitude and nice guy persona. Most of my favorite playes are this way (Freddie and Tom Watson are favorites because of this). If he can stay consistent (especially putting) and show a little drive and mental toughness, I think he has a shot. As you said, "...time will tell!"
