I purchased a set of Ping Rapture irons some time ago with the NS Pro 950 shafts installed. My requirements were maximum game improvement / easy hitting qualities. I'm aware that the shaft is light, which I like and have been told that although a steel shaft it has a feel that is quite like graphite. My ballflight looks good to my eye and my carry distances seem consistent for each club.

I'm very satisfied with this set but would welcome feedback on how this shaft compares with other comparable shafts, comments on the pros and cons of this shaft. Cheers in advance!

As you can see, I have them. Replaced some Tour Flighted Project X 5.5s and, for me, a better fit. I don't find a graphite feel to them. I guess you already have them, and like them, so they seem to be good for you. Just because I replaced my Project Xs doesn't make the Nippons a "better" shaft, just better for me, both are very high quality, as are Dynamic Golds and lots of others. Be glad they work, no reason to seek "cons" if they work for you.
