Just wondering your thoughts on this ball.

I'm very interested in this ball for several reasons... I decided I like a softer more spinnable ball. I play much better with the premium titleists and callaways but looking for something cheaper. I tried recently both the NXT Tours and HX Hot Bites. From my understanding, the Taylormade Burner TP is supposed to compete with these guys... Also from my understanding these are supposed to kind of be a cheaper version both price and performance-wise to the flagship offerings.

I very much like the Hot Bites... the NXT Tours are ok, though my long game just doesnt seem as good with these as with the Hot Bites.

That said, the Burner TPs have several things going for them... price-wise they cost me half as much as the others. And I'm an adidas-taylormade guy, so it'll be cool playing a taylormade ball :)

I had one I was trying to hit with... but that round of golf was downright horrible and the ball didn't last long. Did have one nice chip from maybe 10 yards away the stopped instead of rolling out... so I'm thinking the spin I want is possibly there. It was a little more wet than usual because of the rain though.

So if anyone has any input regarding the ball or its performance regarding putting, chipping, irons, and woods... I'd appreciate it.

And what would be the Bridgestone equivalent?

I like the Burner TP (not the regular Burner...but the TP ball). It is soft to the touch on irons and around the green with the lower compression. Has a good amount of bite. And definitely better than the NXT Tours.

I used the Burner TP as my winter ball and I may continue to use it into spring.

Bridgestone equivalent? I don't even want to think of another ball other than the TP.

How would you compare it to the Hot Bite? (If you've had a chance to play with the Hot Bite that is...)
