If you get fitted for clubs....& then you take lessons & change your question....will you have to get fitted again?

Also, I have Adams A30S irons. I was told that because of their design that you cannot really change the lie of the irons.

Thanks in advance!

A new fitting after lessons, if you made significant changes to your swing path, would not be a bad idea. If you do not want to pay for this you can just get a piece of lie tape and a lie board and take a few swings, making sure the impact is in the middle of the tape. If you do not have these items, then you can just use a piece of plywood (or some other thin hard surface that will not damage your club) and some masking tape to check - the process is the same. If you determine (by whatever means) that you do need to have lies adjusted you can have them adjust on almost all irons, but with cast irons (such as your A3OS's) the changes have to be minimal (sometimes 1* or even less) and these changes must be done carefully as the irons could be weakened or even broken during the adjustment process.
