Next Taylormade R9: 460 CC (3G or 4G)

I spoke with a rep at TM HQ on Friday and he confirmed with me that they already have plans to have the R9 460 CC out. Since it's a bigger head, it won't be "as adjustable." I'm sure they'll have the R9 Limited too. When this comes out, probably we'll see the R11.

I plan on keeping my R9 1G (1st generation) for a while and just wait about 5 years for the R11. How long was the R7 line out for. 5 years?

How is your R9 going. They are being released here in the Uk on the 23rd March, so can't wait to try one. Am seriosuly considering buying one. Does the FCT work really well?

But, yes, you are right. Just wait for the durge of R9 variants to flood the market from TM shortly!!

Official launch here is still the 6th. It's amazing. I know people also that have the TP version and love it and definitely bomb it. It just looks appealing to the eye when you can set it up the way you want to.

I know some people don't like too many options, but I welcome it. I'm still getting better and learning the game, so I would like to have the option to alter my club so I don't have to buy a new one.

That's right. I actually prefer the smaller head after waiting for the R9 for so long. I haven't been playing with my driver and got used to the size of my 3wood.
