Can you get fitted for a set of irons that you already own.....My brother got a set for his birthday that he didnt know he was getting, so obviously arent fitted for him.....Can he go somewhere and get those clubs fitted for him? Or can you only do that upon purchase and then have them sent to you by manufacturer.

The short answer is yes. However, after he has been fit by a clubfitter, he'll have to decide whether the clubs are worth reshafting, or whether to purchase new clubs that have been precisely fit for him.

He can get the lie adjusted if the shaft length and flex is ok then that would work.

He can get the shaft length adjusted if he's not striking the ball in the center of the face. He might need to get the swing weight readjusted if the shaft length changes. Then after fitting the length, he can hit the impact board as well as watch his ball flight. Then the lie can be adjusted. That should get him in the ball park.

That is all assuming that the shaft weight, flex and flexpoint is OK for his swing. If not, he may end up getting his irons reshafted first thing.
