What do you guys think aobut these irons? I am going to be buying mine tomorrow, and i want to know what others have to say. Any mini reviews are welcome!

Get them, best irons i have ever hit. Would only trade them for the 695mb, but these offer so much more forgiveness than the mbs.

ABSOLUTELY! I have both the MBs and the CBs. I actually prefer the CBs over the MBs simply because they will save a shot or two a round. And the statements about them not being a club that can work the ball is dead wrong. Probably the best clubs I have ever owned.

I bought a set over Christmas.....replacing my tried and true 962's.

I absolutely love them. I gained about a half club due to the stronger lofts, extremely easy to work, and the feel is exactly what you'd expect of a forged Titleist.

In David's bag....

Driver: Titleist 910 D-3;  9.5* Diamana Kai'li
3-Wood: Titleist 910F;  15* Diamana Kai'li

Irons: Titleist 695cb 5-Pw

Wedges: Scratch 51-11 TNC grind, Vokey SM-5's;  56-14 F grind and 60-11 K grind
Putter: Scotty Cameron Kombi S

Hi. This may not relevant on topic but I am curious how Titleist MB/CB differ than Mizuno MP33/57.

As shown in my signature, I play with Taylormade TP MB but used to play Hogan Apex->MP14->MP33->TP MB and now I am considering cavity back irons for this year. So it came down to 695 CB / MP 57.

Any recommendation?

Hi. This may not relevant on topic...

Correct, not relevant/on topic (a bit redundant there though)

Any recommendation?

You should start a thread with these questions and I'm sure you'll see many more posts than tacking the question on to an existing thread. Good luck.

To the OP: Congrats on the new sticks.

Very good clubs. I used to play them before i got the AP2s. I think the 735cm are a little better, but you definatly didnt go wrong with your purchase. The faces on the short irons will wear quickly though. I rust spotted the center of the clubfaces on the PW and 9I in less than a full season of owning them.

True, but this is something that you must sacrifice with any forged iron, espically since the 9 and pw are used most.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
    • I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
