I don't have anything against Taylor Made, but their equipment would be a lot cheaper if they didn't keep shelling out 100's of millions of dollars in sponsorship and advertising dollars.

The R9 is quickly becoming the most popular driver on the PGA Tour and is finding its way in to the hands of many many non-Taylormade staffers. The ability to completely customize a driver is definitely a major improvement in club technology.

I dislike TaylorMade, too. I like adidas and their clothes, just not TaylorMade at all. The r9 seems all hype. I hate how it lets you adjust the head and all. It's nice, but IMHO I'd rather fix my swing instead of just sugar-coating it.

And I'm pretty sure the r7 Limited could've been the biggest joke on the market, ever.

They have great customer service.

I agree - even they are a bit on the slow side over here, i never had problems exchanging broken clubs under warrenty with them.

I have been using since the fall of 2000 a TaylorMade 360T 10.5 degree. It has been very good to a old duffer who started playing in his mid 50s. I was just given a R580XD 9.5 degree. As soon as it warms up we will see how it likes me. So far I am sold on TaylorMade drivers.

What makes me dislike Taylor Made is the fact that their high-end irons (TP MB) aren't made left-handed. Mike Weir plays them though, but they aren't available to the public. They are one of the best looking irons out there in my eyes..
