I cannot hit my 3w properly, I cannot hit my 5w properly , I can hit my Taylormade Burner 19 degree hybrid like a gift from god every time max distance sick.

Now Im looking for one with a lower loft maybe longer shaft? I do not need lower tracjectory but I would think the shaft length changes on a 17 and 16 degree hybrid.

Any suggestions on a real low loft hybrid to help me in the woods dept. I can hit the 19 degree about 190 yards , looking for a 230ish club, possible?

I know adams, Nike, TM, and titleist all offer 15 degree clubs..hybrids. I finally grooved the swing with my Adams Idea pro, and i love that sucker now, but it may not be the club for you, as its "harder to hit" then some others. I would look into the 909H, or the Nike's, i had a bad experience with TM's TP hybrid.

Another route you could look is, if you find a club you like, but its not offered in the loft you want, AKA it only goes down to 17 degrees, Just go to the store and buy a longer shaft for it. My adams 20 degree has in essence a 1 Hybrid lenght shaft in it, so that it can double as a 5 wood, and if i choke down on it, a 3 iron. That worked pretty well for me once i figured the darn thing out :P

Good luck!!

just curious... but why are you selling the club you love? and why did you steal Kurt Cobains "Illustrated book about Birds." if ineed you did get that little line in your sig from the Nirvana song? as to the OP... I seriously doubt a 2-3 degrees and a longer shaft will get you 40 yards... that's a pretty hefty gap... I would be shocked if you could hit most 3-woods 230 if you max out a 19* hybrid at 190. I know for me... I hit my 19* about 215-220, and my 3-wood (14*) about 230-240.

Another good option would be the new Adams Speedline hybrid woods (or whatever they are calling them). They are designed like a hybrid, but with longer shaft and strong lofts for the distance of a wood. I have not hit them, but they have gotten good reviews and look like they might be perfect for your need/want.

Because i dont update my sig that often..and i honestly didnt know it was from that song, a friend said it and i thought it was rather funny..

Hes right tho, the lowest lofted hybrid i ahve ever seen was 14, but it was a tour issue adams, so it would be kinda expensive, and even if you put a long shaft in it, im not sure it would still go the 3 wood lenght.

Pikapp, thank you a lot, that sounds exactly right down my alley, that whole speedline line looks enticing. Im gonna go test the 15 degree Hybrid/3wood today. Thanks so much its exactly what I have been wanting. Did these just come out or something and how big of a difference from the
Adams Insight XTD a3 Hybrid FW 3 Wood Fairway Wood 15° which looks to be maybe last years model for 1/2 the price

definately try the XTD line first.... they are very similar and also are supposed to play like a hybrid and as you mentioned are 1/2 the price.
