I ran 40-45 mi/wk for years. Since I got the golf bug, I have better things to do with my time. I run 6-9 m/wk. Throw in a half dozen 10-60 sec fast intervals. It's enough for me.

I ran 12-15 miles/week for three years until an injury forced me to stop last November. I will be continuing in April as I did before, because I enjoy the physical and mental/emotional benefits I get from it. It really helps me on the golf course as well, because at my age (39), fatigue is never an issue. I also sleep better than I ever have in my life.
