I currently have the original Cleveland Launcher 460 with 10.5 degrees of loft with a UST pro-force regular flex shaft. I am a pretty good driver of the golf ball (at times). If I aim well and have a good tempo I can hit 9-14 fairways averaging around 250 in the air. My misses are really bad though (Dead right pull hook) Does anyone know how a different shaft would effect my ball flight, consistancy, and distance. I am itching for an exotic shaft but I am not sure if it would be worth it. Does anyone have any ideas about how much better the high end shafts such as the Izik Matrix and the M. Rayon shafts would compare. Are they worth it?

Seems like if you can really carry it 250 you should be in a stiff shaft. I think 250 carry means your SS is at least 105.

the Graphite Design Tour AD shafts are awesome and can be bought for under $100 (brand new) on ebay right now. its hard to recommend a shaft though without seeing a swing video and your launch monitor #'s

Another really good shaft is Graffloy. If your a low ball hitter the ProLaunch really helps and if your more of a person who works the ball, then there's Red and Blue.

My question is less specific than that. I know I could swing a stiff shaft. I would like some input into the true difference between the $300 shafts such as the Blue Board and Graphite Design YS-6. I will get fitted before I purchase anything but I am not sure if the big upgrade would be worth it in the long run.
