Question comparing hybrids to fairway woods

I've got a heaven wood 3H that I hit around 200-210 on average and a Ping Rapture 17* fairway wood that I averaging around 230. So it leaves a little bit of a gap and I have 13 clubs in bag. The 2H Heaven wood is a 17* so my question is would I hit similar distance to the Ping or do you guys think this could be the club to try to fill this gap? I know shaft type and length have an effect on how long you hit em so hit me back and let me know what you think.

remember length of the shaft gives you extra distance too, hybrids are usually shorter

Hybrid weighting also gets the ball up higher so they will be shorter and land softer

In my experience, lower lofted hybrids do not launch as high (mostly starting around the 19* or lower) and come out more like a low 5 wood and rolls out hot, or a 2 iron that comes off the ground better, still rolling out hot. You'll never get that same softer landing from the hybrids over 20* as there just isn't enough loft to get that same backspin high launch effect.

Truthfully, you gotta see your ball flights to choose but the distance gap would theoretically be filled just fine.

Wilson Staff FYbrid might fit in there fore you. It's 19.5* with a 41" shaft.
