Awesome deal!

I really didnt like my oddysee putter that much, my old putter was doing a better job for me (but its sold). So today my friend, who is also looking for a new putter, was gaming a Wilson 8875 Mallet putter. He Asked me to trade for our second round, and I was more than happy to, after putting horribly the first round.

I had a decent round, I shot a 94 on a long, extremely hilly course near here, and only 3 putted once the whole round. I absolutely loved the putter, and also loved the vokey 56* wedge I was demo'ing.

Anyway, I went to see Hedley (the golf pro there), to buy a new 2 new Vokeys (52&56), and hopefully get a decent deal trading my Ping wedges. While we were talking, I mentioned my love of the 8875 Wilson Mallet, and he said he would throw a new one in free with to vokeys (125$/piece). My friend quickly bought my Ping G10 wedges for 200$(used 2 rounds). I threw in the extra 50$, and got the three new clubs. I definately dont need two putters, but I figure I should use the one I have better confidence in (the wilson).

Another friend is buying my nike clubs tomorrow morning for 400$
(driver, irons, wedges, woods, bag, and 200 range balls). I'm getting new shoes (I wear a 15, so they arent cheap or easy to get), and a few boxes of ProV1's.

What a great couple of days!

And the fiance doesnt mind, cause I havent exaclt spent any money :)


Oh and my friend didnt like the oddysee either. He ended up buying a Yes putter.
