I swing an 09 burner and I'm looking for a lower trajectory...

I went out looking for the prolaunch red and someone talked me into the SK fiber lite rev II for much less but says it's better and will get me that low trajectory I want?

Anybody heard of so fiber lite? Was this a good decision?

SK Fiber makes great shafts and almost no one knows about them. I use SK Fiber shafts in about half the drivers I build. They cost about 1/4 of what "name brand" shafts that spec out the same cost. The SK Fiber Tour Trac 80 is one of the best all around shaft I've had my hands on and it's $20.

That said, the Revolution Lite is a very good shaft. High kick, low launch and fairly tip stiff much like the Prolaunch Red. I'm betting you got a lot better deal on the SK Fiber shaft too.

If you tried and liked the Prolaunch Red then I'm sure you'll like the Revolution Lite too.

Which is weird. They're headquartered about 10 to 15 minutes down the road from me and I'm not sure I've ever heard of them. Seeing as though I'm passionate about golf and I'm in marketing, I may need to pay them a visit. What do you think?

Well, praise the Lord, It seems as though I made a good choice. I'm hearing good things about SK Fiber shafts. I'm picking up my driver tomorrow, complete with an SK Fiber revolution lite. I'm glad you said it's similar to a prolaunch red because that's what I went out looking for. And yes, the shaft installed is less than the pro launch red shaft by itself.

We'll see how it performs tomorrow. Thanks for the input!

    • Down the line and face on from today. Still feeling like I’m sticking the club into a hole in the ceiling above my right shoulder and then big loop inside to start downswing. That’s how it feels. Not how it looks though! Gotta keep working on this for a bit but I see a lot of progress. 😁
    • Day 5 (13 Mar 26) - Friday shootout cancelled- made it a practice round working from mixed tees. Plenty of up and down work around greens.  Best was a hole out birdie on the par 3 #5 hole - nice pitch and roll w/Pw from about 10yds off the green - dead center flagstick drop.  Much of round was focused on getting solid weight shift into lead foot.
    • Day 208 3-13 Worked on wrist arching and flow. First time hitting reall balls at a range in months. It was nice to see ball flight. Still not sure it beats my backyard practice station.
    • Three hole match - microphones on in the cart. It's fascinating listening to them talk about their shots and how they play them. I'm not normally a huge fan of the TM videos - they seem forced to me - but this one doesn't. It's also fun seeing their competitiveness over what on the face of it is a fairly meaningless 3 holes, but they can't help themselves.
