Between the two and the latter release of the R9 460 the only difference, in my opinion, between the two is that the R9 is more adjustable than the R9 460.

Of course, I'm sure it's a little bit more than that but I want to get one of the two to be able to have the option of changing it (not while playing), in the event I need.

If there isn't much differences between the two, isn't it worth getting the R9 instead of the R9 460? I know that the R9 is more expensive than the 460 and quite honestly, I actually hit better with the R9 than the 460 but if I can avoid paying the higher price tag, I would rather do that and go with the R9 460. It could just be me (most likely me) but I had more miss hits with the 460. I'm sure it's all psychological but I don't know.

I need advice on what people think. Learn to use the 460 and pay less or go with what is more comfortable and pay more.

I know that it's usually what's more comfortable but like I said, the two doesn't seem to have a big difference between the two so there is something awkward.

Thanks in advance.

You already have great equipment anyway but if you aren't getting on with your FT-IQ, then get the R9460. Alternatively, spend your hard earned cash on lessons - that's what i am planning to do this summer...

I know I like the look of the smaller head with the 'original' R9. I do not really like 460cc drivers, but that may be just me. The R9 460 doesn't have the 'moveable weight technology (MWT) for what that's worth since I never found that technology to make a huge difference for the average player anyway. However, you have to like the price on the 460 model...

If you decide to go with the R9 lmk, I'll give you a good price

Awesome...the MWT doesn't seem to make much of a difference anyway. The 460 hmmm...although I hit better with the original R9.

I have the R9 and am returning it for the 460. The moveable weight technology is not needed on a 460 head. I like my R9 but I'm looking for a little more forgiveness and a little bigger sweet spot.

Between the R9 460 or the 09 Burner, you feel any difference between the two. I'm torn right now between the two and it seems like the original R9 isn't really for me. But as I posted several times, I was hitting better with the original R9. I just don't want to go back and forth with the clubs.

I just got on the launch monitor with the R9 and the R9 460. I was for hitting the original R9 much better than the 460. Was using the regular flex Motore 65g shaft in the R9 and the REAX Aldila shaft in the 460. Both in 9.5*, was getting about 250 carry with the R9 and only 230 with the 460. Launch angle was a bit low but that's prolly due to my swing. Maybe I'll get it for my birthday which is coming up but for now I gotta try to get this Speedline to carry 250.
