I am on a budget so keep that in mind.

I am going to take lessons in a few weeks and want to get a new set of irons to replace my 7 year old acuity set.

Through online and local shops here are my options within my budget. Please let me know what you think would be best. The list is high to low.

1. Nike Slingshot OSS (3-PW)
2. Nike CCi (3-PW)
3. Nike Ignite Irons (with the hybrid 3, 4-PW)
4. Adams Idea A2 OS (4-6 Hybrids, 7-PW)

I have hit the first two and hit the slingshots better then the CCi. However, since I will be taking a total of 5 leasons (and 1 round on the course) I know everything about my swing will change (deservedly so).

Any opinions on the above clubs would be greatly appreciated.

I would get a set of Callaway Big Bertha's in "Like new" or "Good" condition on the Callaway Preowned site. That is how I got my irons. Just the other week I got my driver this way. Still had the stickers on it and looked brand new in every regard. Just a great way to buy equipment if you ask me. They have this "trade in, trade up" program and they have tons of iron sets, drivers, wedges, etc.. for sale on this website.

My budget is around $225 or so. I figure that I will need to get my clubs fitted to me (at least according to the online caculators) once I get my swing worked out at my lessons, so I need to keep that cost in mind.
