Vokey Spin Milled Wedges??

Hi all, Im looking into get some new wedges and a lot of people on here talk about the titleist vokey spin milled wedges!! I quite like the look of the chrome ones but is it true they rust quite quickly and if so is this true with the whole range??

The chromed wedges should not rust until some of the chrome is wore off from extended play. The make an untreated steel that rust immediately. Correct me if I am wrong.

I didnt even know they made chrome ones anymore. I know they have the nickel plated finish called tour chrome, if thats what you where referring to. But the SM tour chrome version doesnt really rust easily. If it does, its usually because of a nick or scratch on the club. The face will rust after repeated use, but depending on your skill that result can vary.

They shouldn't rust for years. I have an old one that I did replace and it didn't rust for 3 years. Now I don't use it and the face and sole show rust but I could use steel wool to remove if I wanted. It sits on my porch so I really don't care.

The "Oil Can" Vokeys are the ones that rust. Many people like them, but it's a personal preference.

Some folks like the rust - it supposedly adds some grip to the face.

Though it's been pretty much proven that's not the case. I like it because they're not as shiney. I like the chrome look, but hate getting blinded with glare.

      Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.

      Day 1 - 2025-12-20 Starting a new streak, of at least 1. With rain dumping for the next week in the north bay area, I'll be a lot of outdoor net work and maybe some putting. About 10 minutes of 7 iron work, focused on the usuals: weight transfer, keeping hands behind me. I'll have more time in the coming days for video review and maybe some Hack Motion.
