I really want one for the yardage between my 4 iron and 5 wood.

And I cannot hit hybrids for my life, nor do I want to.

The golf store around me sells a bunch of different individual 2 and 3 irons. E-bay would be pretty easy. I think I have 2 or 3 of them in the garage that I never use. The last set I bought I just got 4-W and didn't bother paying for one. Check some of your friends, someone might have one sitting around they don't use.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

You can really buy them EVERYWHERE. Most retailers, golf shops, golf sites etc. They're tricky though.

Craigslist,most people sell there 3 and 4 iron to replace them with hybrids.

      Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.

      Day 1 - 2025-12-20 Starting a new streak, of at least 1. With rain dumping for the next week in the north bay area, I'll be a lot of outdoor net work and maybe some putting. About 10 minutes of 7 iron work, focused on the usuals: weight transfer, keeping hands behind me. I'll have more time in the coming days for video review and maybe some Hack Motion.
