Last year I was golfing with a guy that had picked up a used set of tiltlest bladed forged irons. They must have been used by a good golfer as they had a dime size spot on the face where the ball had been consistently hit. He let me use them during the round and I just loved them. Problem is I can't remember what the were. Can anyone suggest what they might of been, they were a couple of years old for sure. I'm thinking of picking up a set of used clubs and not sure which one of these titleist I should be looking for. I know it's kind of vague but that's all I have to go on.- thanks- Steve

Thanks David, I guess I'll give those 690mb's a try.- Steve

Glad to help. BTW, they had a 695mb too. For some reason they don't show up in the archive. Just put "695mb" into the site search and they'll come up. Very similar to the 690's, but worth a look just to be sure.

FWIW, if you prefer a bit of a cavity, I play the 695 cb's and absolutely love them.

Maybe you just loved them because Titleist is an A brand, and the clubs were much newer than what you were playing with before? If that may be the reason, try other clubs aswell. Cobra and Cleveland have some CHEAP sets, and the 08 burner irons go for 450$ I believe.
