Straighter flying golf ball, myth or reality?

I noticed on the back of the Bridgestone e6+ box it said that if flew straighter than other balls (and thus would reduce a slice or hook.) Really?

Anyone had any experience with these balls (or others) that claim to fly straighter? Do they? If so, is there a particular ball you've had experience with that is a particularly "straight" ball?

It could be how I played yesterday but I used some Nike One Tour and e6+ yesterday and they both flew way straighter than any other ball I have ever hit. Like I said, it could have just been my game and not the ball. Either way they both feel sweet on contact

Also let me add it definitely will not stop your slice or hook because I still had a few slices but the amount of slice seemed to be reduced a little in my opinion. The e6+ feel really good on contact as well and you will know when you have hit a good one

My opinion on these has always been that they will not over come physics. If you have a banana slice, you'll have the same slice with any ball. However if you hit a slight fade, you may see some reduction in your fade due to the reduced spin of these balls. So do they work, yes. To what degree, I'd say marginal.

I agree with kfowler. They do spin less than other balls so your bananna ball will be less than normal but if you put. Bad swing on the ball it's still going to be bad. Less backspin and less sidespin

the e6 is a nice ball. Give it a go

The ball's dimple technology is made to reduce spin... Side spin = slice or hook... reduced side spin= reduced slice or hook

Ive tried the E6+ and hit some of the straightest shots Ive ever hit with it.
