The one club I have decided to add to my bag to get to 14 clubs is a 50* gap wedge. I have found a used one that exactly matches my iron set and am thinking about buying it. A few things worry me that I want to bounce buy you.

1. My 3 - PW have the standard cobra grips. This one has a Lamkin grip. Will that throw me off?

2. The ad states it is 36.5" long. Is that the standard length for a gap wedge? My current iron set is a standard length and since I'm 5'11" that works for me. I don't want one that is extra long or short for just one wedge.

3. The gap wedge is a regular flex graphite shaft. This would match my other irons, but I'm concerned that it might not be the best choice for a wedge. My SW is a steel shaft. Would I be better with a steel shafted GW too?

I have no plans to buy a log wedge so the gap wedge will either need to match my SW or my PW. What do you guys think. This is for an ebay auction that doesn't have long left so please get back to me.

I found another one that has a steel shaft and says it is 35-3/4" in length. It has the same Lamkin grip on it. I think for a wedge, I'd rather have the steel shaft but I want the standard length. Which one is it, if either?
