First time bringing the ball back

I played 9 holes today and on the ninth hole I had about 50 yards to the green. I pulled out my sand wedge and took a nice easy swing and dropped the ball about 3 feet on to the green and it spun backwards off the green. I was kind of mad that it spun off the green but at the same time it was sweet to do that for the first time.

great story. I spun my 9 iron back 6 feet today from about 145 yards. I notice that no matter how hard the greens are, i get more spin off of them than i do versus the shaggy and slow greens.

Not me. I'm a "skinner". I just scar the grass because my angle of approach at impact is too shallow to get much spin. I'm happy if i hit a wedge and it only goes 8 feet forward!

I play a lot of greens like i'm in Britain, or something. Land it short and run it up. I hear "just like the British Open" a lot!

The only time i get any real juice on the ball is from the bunker.

The funny thing is I normally try to hit it short of the pin and roll it up to pin, so I thought I hit perfect shot and then it rolled back on me and it was on a slope too so then I had a difficult chip shot afterwards.
