Either DYI or a shop? I never take a full swing with my 58 degree wedge, so i prefer moderate bounce (12 degrees) to use out of the sand and for pitch shots. But I would also like to make it a little more playable and to be able to get into a tight lie if i need to. Im trying to get some research and just thought id start here.

I did it to an old vokey of mine... the sole on the 60 vokeys always felt huge to me, so i ground off some of the back, some of the leading edge, and off the heel to the point you can lay it open and it lays pretty much on the ground.. did it with a grinder my dad has, nothing special... i didnt have one of the wheels to buff it up and make it look good, but god if it didnt work.. thing was super easy to open up after that.. i can post some pics when i get home.
