Welcome! I'm in Williamsburg, where do you normally play in DC?

Thanks!

I play all over really - Univ of Maryland alot, and sometimes the munis in the city (I live in the city), but lately i've been branching out to some of the better courses in the burbs, such as Augustine and Old Hickory in VA. I'm learning there's a ton of good courses around DC, but they're all around an hour's drive from the city (and not cheap I might add). @ragotona: Have you ever played Canon Ridge? If so, how's that? There's a possible tournament I might play in down there in a couple of weeks.

Thanks!

I play Augustine quite a bit, and just played Cannon a couple of weeks ago. It's a fantastic layout, in great shape having just hosted a USPGT event a few weeks ago. I really only dislike one hole (#12, I believe). It's a par five that doesn't really have a good place to land the ball. Slopes hard from right to left -- anything in the fairway collects in the rough on the left. I suppose it's possible to lay up off the tee, but who does that on a par five???

"I played like shit." -Greg Norman after the '96 Masters.
