My new bag

I got a new bag as you saw in my post I was looking for one. I found this callaway one for 70 dollars. I hope I didn't get ripped off.

Walmart :) it didn't have a tag on it and some old lady was there so I took one off a taylormade one that was 70$ and told her it was for the callaway one and she didnt notice.. or didnt care.. either way I hope it was a good deal seeing how that callaway bag was actually 100$

Wait a minute. You took off a tag that had "$70" on it and used it to purchase a $100 item?? And you took advantage of the sales person being an old lady so she didn't notice. You know that she didn't notice, because if she had, she would have cared. I was just going to congratulate you on this great looking bag at what seemed a very good price. But now I don't know what to say. This is plain theft. Robbery. Are $30 really worth it?? And you come here bragging about it as well?? I just hope I have understood the whole thing wrong and you did not actually do this.

LOL I didn't have a choice they didnt know how much the bag was cause it didnt have a barcode so they just took the taylormade one instead cause they thought it would have be "equal" but it clearly was not. So basically it being the last one, and no one knowing how much it REALLY was until I got how and searched on the internet, they took a taylormade one because they were sitting next to each other, and they accepted my offer to pay the price of the taylormade one. I told the story wrong. Relax lol. It went through a manager. And yes the manager was and "older lady" do you think some senile lady would be working walmart at 3:30am on a friday night? She wasn't like 80. lol

Just put this clear:THEY did that (and by "they" I mean the salespersons at Wal Mart) or you did it yourself?

Because your first post implies that you did it yourself. "she didn't notice". If it was their doing, meaning: they couldn't find a tag for the Callaway and just decided they will charge you $70 for it. Then there's nothing wrong. But if it's anything else....

Well she was the one that offered it. And I don't think she noticed she made a mistake when she gave it to me. That's what I'm saying. I didn't try to take advantage by like fraud or anything lol. It was just one of those things that they gave me a good deal and I noticed and I wasn't going to say anything if they were gonna give me a good price.

Well... if that's the case then I think it's OK. As long as they knew they were charging you the price of another item, not the same exact item you're buying.

They did charge me for another item. Because they didnt have the UCP barcode thing on it and they couldnt find a price so I walked back and they said it similar to this one is that ok? Cause I didnt really know how much the callaway bag was actually cause it was like a return from online or something maybe. So I was like ok.. then I got home looked it up and I was like oh man.. i think i got a deal lol I just don't think they noticed that the callaway was more expensive

this bag is sweet, much better then mt hot-z heathrow bag... and only 70$, i thought brand name bags like that were 150-200$$$

My local Wally world has that same bag for $70. I've notest some W-marts charge diffrently from store to store.

Are you even asking? Dude, it's a steal! (I don't know why didn't you get the TaylorMade one though, since your irons are TM. I like my bag to be same brand as my irons, but that's just me)

Sounds like you knew how much it was worth before you bought it even though it didn't

technically have a tag on it. Plus you had another thread where you looked these bags up online before you bought one. Here is a link to that... And here is your thread... So it sounds like you scamed Wal-Mart... congrats...

It seems that they knew what they were doing when they gave you that price. When tags aren't on merchandise at Wal-Mart that usually indicates that it was returned by a customer. So I don't believe any deception was involved.

But at any rate that is one sweet looking bag.

Prolly a great deal. I looked at the ones at my local Wally and thought the quality was as good as any in a good golf shop. Golf shop would be $130+ for a good bag.
