Well, I ordered 2 dozen tp black ldp's from lostgolfballs.com and tried it out today for 9 holes. Played better than I have for a while, 9 pars w/ 4 up/downs. Now, my driver is relatively new, only had it for a few weeks and I blindly chose my own shaft for it (after lots of research) but it serves me very well. Anyways, I noticed today that my drives were a good 10 yards longer than normal. I would expect going to a softer ball, I would lose distance, but I was actually longer. Is it all due to a higher spin rate? My shots weren't noticeably higher either. Does anyone actually get more distance off a spinnier ball compared to a harder ball more geared towards distance? Maybe I've been playing the wrong ball all along.

the TM TP Blacks were tested by golf magazine and out of all of the balls they tested it went the farthest, and it still spins alot.
thats why i play it=]
