Here is what I have set up for the winter. I have a large rug and then a smaller rug on which I stand on and put the ball on. Am I going to ruin my clubs?? I have read some posts about people bending their clubs from hitting off the simulator turfs in their garage or basement. I never take much of a divot when playing and don't feel like I am digging into the rug when hitting in my basement. Just thought I would ask. Thanks.

Just make sure you have some of some pad underneath the astroturf, if you throw down a piece of turf with nothing under it, you could easily bend you club if you're hitting down on it. (like a wedge or something)

spend the money and buy an actual golf turf pad or something. dont take chances with your club, I hate this time of year but I'm lucky enough to live by some domes that I can utilize during these cold months.
