What do you think my chances are?

The Munster U15 boys competition is going to be on in June/July.
The winner last year shot 3 over par.

What you think the chances of me getting down to a 5 handicap?
I'm playing great golf and have been getting lessons, after my last lesson I think I'll shoot 10 over par maybe better on Saturday.

What do you honestly think the chances of halving my handicap are?
I'll be practising all through the summer and be playing in other tournaments but this is the big one.

I'm gonna guess pretty slim. Your asking to drop your handicap almost 10 in 3 months?? Not very likely. Keep working hard are just see where u end up. Id work on just getting single digits. Thats more reasonable.

The more important question is "What do you honestly think the chances of halving your handicap are?" If you know that you can become a 5 handicap, you are well on your way. Practice and play as if you already are 5 handicapper. There was a motivational saying "Fake It Until You Make It", meaning you should take the attitude that you are already at whatever level you want to achieve. Then work like heck to get there.
