is it possible to take a callaway i-mix shaft and place it into a non callaway driver

wondering how easy, or if possible it was to take an imix shaft and place it into another driver.

any experiences?

No it wouldnt be possible. Firstly the imix shaft has an adaptor on the end which is just for certain callaway drivers and secondly, the tip has been trimmed to a specific length to take into account the length it gets inserted into the club head. If you were to remove the adaptor and then re-insert into an ordinary club, the shaft would play differently to what is intended as the tip will have been trimmed to a different length.
