Hi there everyone,
Just thought I'd introduce myself having found this site totally by accident!

I'm 34 and have played golf since I was around 17 and more seriously for the past 4-5 years.
I live in the UK....near to Leeds.

Look forward to seeing you all on the boards!

Liverpool fan here. Catch them every chance I get. Following them since I played amateur in Dallas in the mid 70's... back in the days of Stevie Highway, et al.

Good to see you enjoy some soccer cdriver.
The league in the US was pretty big mid to late 70's.....I know a lot of our players saw it as good place to finish their career and earn some big bucks for a year or two.

I knew some of the Dallas Tornado players. I went to several seminars conducted by Kenny Cooper. He was a goalkeeper. He was a really nice guy. He used to get me laughing talking about Tex-Mex food. He couldn't stand the stuff, just too hot for him. Also, Kevin Keegan, I think he went on to a career in football management in the UK. In the off season, the Tornado players that stayed in the area used to come out to the park and play in pick up games with us.

I got to see some of the greats play. Franz Beckinbauer, Pele....
