Congratulations!!! I've had quite a few chances, but always manage to screw it up. Short par fives reached in two, then 3-putt from 5-10 feet.

l always seem to fall apart on the back. I am in florida so its 100 degrees out now, after 9 holes my hands are so clammy and my glove is soaked in sweat. If this were during the winter I play just as well on the back as I do on the front.

Congrats man! I just got mine last week, was beside the green in 2 and chipped in. Kind of funny i've had numerous short putts for eagle (within 10 feet) and i get my 1st by chipping in.

Congrats man!

Poon, that's exactly what I was thinking....I'm in yall's boat....can't keep it going. Either takes too long to warm up, or fall apart on the back. Usually, takes a while to settle into the round.

CONGRATS Shorty.....I'm still waiting for my first eagle.

Good job, bro. I just got my first one on a par 4 a few days ago, I have 3 or 4 on par 5s (my usual course has two pretty short par 5s). It's such a good feeling.

Nice Shorty, that's the way to do it. I have only had one on a par four, out of 10-20? And it was only about 70 yards out. I would love to hole a shot from 160 yards.

    • Day 33 (13 Dec 25) - Worked on weight shift and resetting the left heel during downswing (after listening to a discussion on Golf School this morning on PGA Tour Radio).  It centered on how Jack Nicklaus lifted his lead heel and how long driver champs do as well.  Taking cues from that discussion, worked an exaggerated feel of the left heel working doing some swing drill in the backyard using the 7i.  Wrapped up the session by hitting a few low bump and run shots in the backyard - keeping the process slow and exaggerated.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
