I currently have a Ping G5 3 Wood w/ a Graffaloy pro launch 75 S shaft and I love it. It has a good high flight, can really hit it well in the desired direction. I am currently having issues finding a shaft for my driver that works. I currently have a new one coming to me for my I-Mix driver (Adilila Black Voodoo S 60) and I am selling the Fubuki I have. It is just too stiff and don't care much for it. If the new shaft doesn't work, I am sending it back (I have 2 weeks).

Question: Should that shaft perform the same or similar in a driver? If so this seems like a cheaper route sticking that shaft on an old cleveland launcher comp head I have and like. I've seen them for 40 bucks on ebay new and another 20 for grip and install.

Should I get the same wieght or go with the 65 in the driver? I know some tour players play exactly the same shafts in both the driver and 3 wood, but some putt say a 75 and 85 in the 3W. How would this effect performance and direction?

I really want to have a driver that I feel good with as cheap as possible.

Any feedback would be great. Thanks

Brian

here's my story

Thanks for sharing. Hopefully this is a non issue and I love my new shaft, but I am skeptical since I am buying a shaft without ever hiting it.
