Which part? Stats, or the part where he won 6 times in 2009, finished an aggregate 1 stroke better in majors than Phil this year, or that he has been the most dominant player in the game for 13+ years and deserves the benefit of the doubt more than anyone ever has (reminder, he's still in the Top 12 of the rankings).

The part that hasn't won in 2010 and hasn't even come close; the part that has only two top-10 finishes; the part that's 51st in scoring average, 78th on the money list, and 108th in the FedEx Cup standings; but most importantly, the part that hasn't been able to commit mentally to any tournament outside the four majors, and offers no guarantee that he'll give a crap about trying his hardest in the Ryder Cup.

The Ryder Cup captain now has four picks so he can choose the four best players available right now, not the players who played well last year, or the year before, or in 1997. I still don't feel that Tiger Woods is one of the four best players available right now, and I wouldn't want to risk five points on the prospect that he'll be motivated enough to care when there's a trophy on the line that won't have his name etched on it.

In my UnderArmour Links stand bag...

Driver: '07 Burner 9.5° (stiff graphite shaft)
Woods: SasQuatch 17° 4-Wood (stiff graphite shaft)
Hybrid: 4DX Ironwood 20° (stiff graphite shaft)Irons/Wedges: Apex Edge 3-PW, GW, SW (stiff shaft); Carnoustie 60° LWPutter: Rossa AGSI+ Corzina...

Name 4 players not in the Top 8 that you would place money on to beat Tiger in a match play event right now. Think of walking to the bank, pulling out $500, and you're going to Vegas to place the bet.

This is incorrect.

Phil 272 + 287 + 289 + 282 = 1130 Tiger 277 + 287 + 285 + 286 = 1135 Phil wins by 5 shots.
In the Bag:

Driver: FT 9 Tour 10*
3-Wood: Big Bertha Diablo 15*

    • The MTB Prime and Prime X had issues with the cover being too soft and getting cut too easily. They said it was more prevalent in the Prime than the Prime X which I found odd because that was the exact opposite of my experience.
    • Day 120 - Played 18; much better than yesterday. Miss right now is off the heel of the club, so I need to sort that out.
    • Today we played Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, NH. Course was in great shape but my game didn't show up. I will say I pitched and chipped fairly well but almost everything else was very hit or miss. Cost myself a lot hitting an in play drive with pulling my approach shots maybe 85% of the time. Finally figured out I had been swaying most of the round. Only took me until 13 to figure it out. Used what felt like a much more centered turn and the ballstriking improved. 18 tomorrow using a 2 man scramble format. Just looking to contribute. Been a blast though.
    • Day 22: Hit balls with 7-iron using mevo+ to track dispersion. Was out for a long time after work; 86 balls but the first 50+ were 50% swings focusing on top of backswing feel and then just hitting the ball as a psychic reward. Finished with 20 balls close to full speed. Pretty happy with dispersion and also no horrendous misses. I’m chunking my priority piece out into two separate feels, first and more important is the position/balance at top of backswing which is what I was working on. Once I have that engrained I’ll move to transition part.
    • FWIW I never really had issues with the previous generation of Snells. But… I'm not sure I played them a ton, either.
