Day 634 - 2026-06-28 Light day. Had a GEARS lesson after a junior lesson but one of the two GEARS guys didn't show. So had a little time to get some work in and GEARS was set up… -

Probably the 130 yard shot where I had to punch a 6 iron just to the right spot to run it up onto the green. Missing too far right runs down a hill, and left hits the trees blocking out the 3/4th of the green. I was able to get the ball point high for about a 25-ft putt. -
I holed out from 22 yards for birdie today during my round; this is my second-farthest away hole out of the year (so far). -
Birdied a #17 today. At this course, it was a par-3, and I holed out from 22 yards for birdie after missing the green short off the tee. Like the #12 two weeks ago, this is not the #17 I would have guessed would be my first birdie of the year, since a course I play semi-frequently has a nice par-5 for its #17.
