My friend has a burner 4 hybrid. I can carry it about 180 which is decent considering I only weigh 100 pounds. However I have and adams tight lies hybrid and it only carries about 145-150. Does anybody know what the heck could be happening.

Compare the specs such as loft, length, weight, kick-point, etc of both clubs.

I'd assume the specs play a role in the distance difference.

In addition, isn't the "tight lies" the starter set version of Adams hybrids? That could also be a reason why one is 30 yards longer than the other.
