club fitting

i am looking to get custom fitted for a new putter and fairway woods next week when i visit orlando on vacation.
two places i have in mind are edwin watts and golfgalaxy.
but i cant find any info on prices for a fitting has anyone had any fittings there i am a bit weary as i dont think they will be to concerned about repeat buissnes and i dont want to make a exspensive mistake by buying clubs the shop are trying to clear.

Not sure what kind of custom fitting you will get in a big box golf store. Below is a list of professional clubfitters in Florida. Not sure which ones are close to Orlando. Might not work out if you are there on vacation. You should google clubfitting, golf club shops, custom golf clubs, etc.. and make some phone calls for the Orlando area. There will be tons of places to get fitted.


Be sure to visit the golf hall of fame while in the area. It is in St. Augustine and is an absolute must see. So much golf history and more.

Below is the oldest public course in Orlando. Saw in on Destination Golf (Golf channel show) yesterday. Said to have best burger in Orlando, very cool looking restaurant there. Lots of history, not too challenging, affordable.
