Winter Golf Practice

This was my 3rd season playing golf and I made some decent progress. I worked on my short game alot and dropped from an 18 handicap to a 12.5. In the past, I put my clubs away for the winter, but this year I'm hitting balls almost everyday during the off-season.

I feel like my ball-striking is improving, but the complex, elusive nature of golf has me scratching my head alot. A swing thought that works magic one day turns to dust the next. Plus, you never know what's going to actually hold up on the course.

Now that the snow is piled up, it'll probably be a while before I can play some real golf. But I've never been more psyched about the game, so I'm going to really appreciate it in the Spring when the weather breaks.

For now, I'll have to be content with beating balls at the range and the Sandtrap Fantasy Golf League.

You have some kind of indoor range near you?

Yes, there is a golf dome near me. Also, some of the outdoor ranges have semi-enclosed heated bays.
