Chipping, the way I do it

I have learned alot through the years. I have read Pelz's book, watched Phil's DVD, and studied the way good players chip around the greens. Last year I was trying to use phil's way and I feel like on chips where you have to get more height and spin, no better way. But on the simple chips my consistancy has been bad. Easy shots, just not doing it. I have recently went to the reverse overlap grip (the same as my putting grip) and play the ball off my back heal with little wrist cock. I use this way from good lies where I don't need to stop it quickly. For me, this way is much more consistant and easier to get perfect contact. I use it with any club I would chip with. I typically use my 58 or GW and just use ball position and shaft lean at set up to get in the proper place, then I just make a putting stroke. I hope to be more consistant this year and the one time I played, I really liked the results on the 3 chips where this style worked. I even used it from good lies in the rough with good results. I practice at my house on a 20 foot chip and my results are better than the hinge and hold. It is really just pelz's method with a modified grip. The grip is great for feel since my my left hand has more contact with the grip and I am so much more cordinated with my left hand.
