I've been playing quite a bit this year so far. Missed results so far struggling at times hitting big pulls/ pull hooks. Lots of fun playing on tree lined courses. Scores have suffered. Anyway, I played last Wednesday, played like a dog, 5 3 putts, 3 lost balls, just really ugly. I was lucky to shot 89. So I went to the range right afterwards just trying to figure a way to get the ball in play with the driver. I hit a small bucket and realized I wasn't moving my weight/hips enough and was causing an over the top move. This isn't anything new for me. I've struggled hitting the ball right with big pulls for a long time. I used to play that shot but isn't the way I am going to play.

Anyway, here is the moment. I was at home after this just swinging the driver in the back looking in my window to view the club in the back swing and ding ding ding, Man I am just too steep. It was apparent and obvious. That is what is killing me!! From the too steep swing there are only two options and I picked the pull. I then went to the range twice this weekend, played 9. It is an ackward feeling, being so much flatter but I like results. I can't believe it took how many years to realize this. The transition is really strange right now from back swing to down swing but it is nice to feel like I can hit a push draw without any extra movement.
