Got to play 36holes today, first time I've done two rounds in a day. Went 87/88, which are both solid rounds for me. Not too thrilled though, as I didn't hit the ball well, didn't really have much of a short game, and putting was mediocre. I just "got around" and didn't have any blowups. Slicing off the tee again at times, not really sure what's going on but playing partner said my backswing has shortened up. Hit some good drives in there, but a lot of weak fades.

Irons were more of the same, short fades, I'm just not getting through the ball and hitting it crisp. I'll get to the range today and try to see if I can figure it out, everything feels very mechanical right now. I was hammering drives/irons just a few weeks ago, so I don't think it's a major issue. On the flipside, I'm happy to post two scores that will drop my handicap, I guess that's part of the deal, when your "bad" rounds are still solid scores. I did post a 40 on the back 9 of the first round, so when the driver got going for a bit I was able to score.
